Vegan & sustainable material design study using fallen leaves, dried plants, and starch.
Where do fallen leaves go?
More than 2,000 tons of leaves have been incinerated annually in Seoul.
It costs a lot of time and money to separate trash from fallen leaves. And the cleaning step is also one of the cost-demanding parts. Recycling leaves for fertilizer is a long time needed work, about 3 to 4 years.
How might we solve the problem of fallen leaves and trash and find value in them?
How might we inspire people to find potential from underestimated assets around us?
