92,000,000 tons of textile waste is created annually worldwide. Most of the clothes are composed of mixed materials which means they are hard to chemically recycle.

The goal of this project is to raise awareness of this problem to people by making them play with this new material made from their worn out clothes at home.




This project aims to raise awareness of people about fabric waste with the proposal of physical recycling methods which everyone can access at home.

Binder Ingridients (mix all together)
  1. Contact lens solution(containing Borax) : 0.05
  2. Elmer’s glue : 0.2
  3. Soluble glue : 0.6
  4. Pinch of baking soda
Material making process
  1. Chop and shred, or scrap the lints from clothes
  2. Binder : textile = 1 : 3
  3. Mix the material with binder and make a form
  4. Dry
